The exhibition called "Holidays and Meetings II" open since 20 august 2008 is the second leg of the exhibition series held in Veszprém, Komárom and Sepsiszentgyörgy. Traditional events when community members met and celebrations are revived at the showing. Those holidays that involved profane characteristics, rich spectacle but also sacred activity, ecclesiastic traditions thus building up rich and colourful celebrations.
A taste of the exhibition
The rhythm of a year is provided by the changes of seasons. However, ecclesiastic year is just like that. The period from Advent to Advent, the beginning of seasons in always celebrated with rituals and remembered by beliefs. The customs "Saint Family Visiting" from the Bakony and the Upper Balaton area, the custom of finding housing that prepared Advent and the Christmas holidays spiritually, the Masquarade of Women in the Szent György Hill that was held as a kind of enchantment for profound yield was the celebration of Magyarpolány. The day of Saint Florin is a reminder of the day when the saint was asked to intervene to escape fires and to save the souls in purgatory.

Out of the customs of Székely Land, the visitors can see the following: masked men from the Masquerade of Bölön who set off to expel winter and welcome spring. In Csíkszentdomonkos, the most important event was Passion Week, another custom was the guarding of the Saint Grave in which customs of the Middle Ages are also traceable. From Csíkcsatószeg, the spectacle Tent on Lord's Day and as the closing of the exhibition, we present the famous Saint Stephen Day Saint's Day festivities.

Photos also help in recalling of the holidays and celebrations of an ecclesiastic.
