I was born on April 13th in 1942, in Dunaszekcső. I have been attracted by drawing since I was a child. After the grammar school, I came to the workshop of the artist János Czencz. I learnt the basis of painting there. Then, I found a secure job in Budapest. Among other works, I enrolled in Derkovits Gyula study group of fine arts and where I made graphics and several paintings. By Erik Scholtz, I got opportunity to profit by my knowledge. I had individual exhibition in Budapest, Pécs and Dunaszekcső.

Themes of my paintings are landscape, portrait and still life in general. The two main colours that I'm using are yellow and black. My work has been mostly influenced by naturalism and French impressionism, among trend of styles. The dignity of objects and shapes recall the creative part of me, a view becomes a vision. To paint the beauty of Dunaszekcső land is a big challenge for me. I'm slow in painting. I usually embark in four or five paintings with making a rough draft of colours, too, and then I put them away for a while. It happens me to ripen them in my head for several months before taking paintbrush. I use intense colours. Shapes can be clearly defined, one from the other, and they have their own, enclosed world. I'm full of ideas. If fortune give me some more time, I could make some more paintings, perhaps.
