Juhos Nándor was resettled in Szajk in Baranya County from a village in Slovakia when 'relocations took place'. He studied at the Kisfaludy Grammar School in Mohács between 1954 and 1958. Then he attended military school and later graduated as an engineer. He served in various ranks, but retired as a teacher, lieutenant colonel from the Bolyai Military Polytechnic Collage.

He first met photography when at school in Mohács and has been involved in it ever since. He first showed his works in the beginning of the 70's. He organized his first independent exhibition in 1977 and has held many in Hungary and abroad since. His successful display entitled 'Sokác and Busójárás' opened in Mohács in 2003. In 2004, the National Association of Hungarian Artists voted in the photographer Juhos Nándor among its members. Thus, he officially is a photographer artist. He and other artists also voted in showed their works at the exhibition titled 'Premiere' in March 2005 in the Duna Gallery.
Man is in the center in the photos of Juhos Nándor. He feels deep sympathy for the old, children and the deprived of society. This is what shows in his portraits. He also respects the beauty of women. Photos on the life of peasantry and ethic groups are also in abundance in his oeuvre. One of the most successful is titled 'My Predecessor from Mohács' about which the magazine 'FOTÓ' published an article.
Juhos Nándor now shows the most memorable and successful of his pictures in the town of his childhood and where he first experimented with photography.
