The artist was born on 11 August 1946. The exhibition opening on his 60th birthday presents his art of the past 25 years spent with making and designing books, drawing, design of stamps and organizing exhibitions.

He designed stamps for Hungary, Mongolia and Yemen too. He received the prize 'The Stamp Designer of the Year' in 1996 for his series titled 'Pannonhalma is 1000 Years Old'.
His most important exhibitions were held at the Hungarian Academy of Rome, the Hungarian National Gallery, the Vigadó Gallery and the Medici Palace of Florence.
In 1975 he received the Derkovits Prize, in 1988 the Barcsay Prize, in 2000 the Mednyánszky Prize. In 2005he was honored with the Silver Cross of the Hungarian Republic.
