Nagy Kovács Mária was born in Budapest in 1910 as Glaser Mária. Her parents divorced and entrusted the head teacher of the kindergarten nearby, Müller Hermina, to take care of her. As the foster parents were teachers, they realized the talent of their child early. She began to learn to play the piano at the age of 5, but she loved to draw and paint too. At the age of 10 her teacher of art was a painter artist.
A taste of the exhibition
She graduated as a teacher as a respect to her parents but developed her art during the time of her studies. Before collage Erdei Dezső and Bory Jenő were her teachers of art from 1930.
