The Hamza Museum Foundation published the book titled 'The art and Life of Benke László' by Egri Mária and Jánosi Gyöngyi in 2001. This time we organize an exhibition of the heritage of the artist.

Benke László was born in 1903, lived, and worked as a painter at the area of the Jászság until his death in 1983. He also worked around the country of Eger as a painter and restorer in over 60 churches. His most significant works were the Roman Catholic Church of Tiszaörs, the Szentkúti Church in Jászberény and the Roman Catholic Church of Törökszentmiklós.
Our exhibition presents documents that are not included in his monograph, color plans and photos showing the life of the artist. The son of the artist donated the documents.
