Caravaggio and Tibor Csenus in his works patterned after the Baroque of the 17th century created similar language in figurative art. The thematic of Csenus's painting is almost completely based on ecclesiastic themes. The artist believes in learning his trade on the highest level, in strict compositions and the ordered forms.

His works can be found in several churches and public buildings in Budapest, Szentendre, Sárospatak, Rome, Barcelona, Cordes. Since 1999, he is involved in making a painting series of four pieces for the cathedral of Szombathely.
