'Who flies up in a plane, for him this country is a map' wrote the poet. Many people believe of the Internet that it alienates man from his environment.

On the occasion of the photo exhibition titled 'This country is a map for me' the young photo artists of the Lumen Foundation begin traveling around the country with their cameras and maps to picture those settlements where important points of the Ministry of Informatics and Communications can be found.
The open air photo exhibition will select from the best photos. This show is the continuation of the Summer exhibition of 2003 titled 'One Day of Budapest' which was visited by over 50 000 people. The project that came to existence by the cooperation of the ARC (Face), The Lumen Photo Art Foundation, and the Millenáris Kht. will hopefully be as successful as its predecessor.
The Ministry of Informatics and Communication will open 2800 new institutions in Hungary. The free or discount points will provide for each and every citizen possibility to get the suitable information through the Internet all over the country. The information net will affect the every day life of the people as well as the economic and agricultural life of villages starring from tourism to entertainment. The project will document this enterprise by the help of photos at the time of Hungary's joining the EU.
