Over the past 15 years, The Katona József Museum of Fine Arts Collection (Kecskemét Gallery) had its main activity and the scope of collection was in the spirit of Christianity. In 2000, for the first time the exhibition 1000 Years - Hungarian Saints, then in 2002 the 1st Contemporary Christian Iconography Biennial was organized. For the first time we chose the scene of crucifixion and the most important symbol of the cross.
