An exhibition dealing with buildings designed by Miklós Ybl opens on Tuesday at the Albert Wass Library and Museum in Tapolca, which is reveals works of the architect born 200 years ago to the audience from a unique perspective.

The first location in the country where the exhibition is to arrive from the Hungarian National Museum is Tapolca. The Szent István University Ybl Miklós Faculty of Architecture presents works of art by 70 students.

One special feature of the exhibition is a number of period contemporary construction details in addition to Ybl's sacred buildings, castles, palaces and public buildings such as the hidden logs of a building or a section of the main column. The models are placed in three large-scale installation, which are free to move around. The illuminated models are shown to the public on two shelves through a peeping hole, making them feel surprisingly close to the exhibits. This layout will show the buildings from a very special perspective focusing on the consistency of details. Therefore, it will be possible to see close up details of the Opera House balcony , the staircase of the First National Savings Bank of Pest stage or the Bitto Castle in Drávafok.
