The Laczkó Dezső of the Veszprém County Museum is the location of outstanding labour of restoration, with a centre in Török Ignác Street, where professionals restore, revive artefacts. The work of restorers is to take care of finds from excavations and items discovered in villages and towns. Ceramics, glasses, metal, textile, paper, leather, picture frame are just a few material to mention that restorers work with. They clean them, put them together and if necessary, they add the missing piece to them.

The result of this enigmatic and mysterious job is on display at the Xántus János Museum in Győr, then it travels on to Rév-Komárom and Székesfehérvár. In addition to the restored items, we also show photos about the restoration works, hoping that our visitors will see themselves how interesting and variable the work of restorers is.

The journey of the exhibition ends in July 2013 in Székesfehérvár. then at the Laczkó Dezső County Museum of Veszprém and several of the county schools, too. The exhibition was supported by the application no.3506, announced by the National Cultural Found.
