The Palóc Museum in Balassagyarmat opens its exhibition on 2 October 2012 celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Dr. Kresz Mária Foundation. The exhibition is entitled The Appraisal of our Craft.

The foundation is involved in preserving and passing on folk traditions, cultural values through trainings recognized by the state, as well as professional and family programs.

The travelling exhibition presents works by artists who are somewhat related to the foundation through ceramics, homespun leather, felt or other raw material.

The compilation has been show at several parts of the country; however, it is now added works of art from members of the Palócföld Folk Applied Arts Association.
