The Thorma János Museum of Kiskunhalas has organized a significant travelling exhibition to mark the 75th anniversary of the death of the painter after whom the museum was named. János Thorma, who was born in Kiskunhalas, and later moved to Nagybánya, was one of the most excellent figures of Hungarian painting. He began his career as a student of Bertalan Székely in Budapest in 1887.
