Pictures by Lehel Kovács cannot be considered hyper-realist works. It is because his method of representation that is supposed to show hyper-realism are only one 'layer' in his works. Nevertheless, those paintings 'that are deep images of the soul', that have inner meaning, deeply influencing the technique of expression, are the result of a real concentrating, thorough and extremely intimate dialogue.
