The exhibition presents a selection of works sent in for the application with the same title. The idea behind the works of art on display is the birth of Jesus, Advent with their ornaments and festive objects.

Representatives of various genders sent in works to the application announced by the Hungarian Arts and crafts Foundation. There were amateurs and professionals, as well as artists from over the borders among the applicants.
Of the professionals, artisans with the title MAster of Folk Art were among the applicants, as well as amateurs, including kindergarteners, students, teachers, people living with disabilities, pensioners. The interest in the application does not decline; the number of applicants is around two-hundred every year.
A jury made up of the Hungarian Cultural Institute and Visual Art Department, The House of Traditions, members of the Saint Imre Parish of Buda. They suggest the awarded works.
A photo album in three languages has been published about the material on display since.
