Parád is a tipical settlement of the Palóc people in the region of North-East Hungary. The region house represents the life-style and dwelling place of a tipical Palóc family from the end of the 19th century. The house with thached roofing and three divisions had been the property of an old Paradian family. In the first part of the property there are the dwelling house, a stable, a barn and a shadoof well.
