The Eötvös József memorial hall was formed by the National Pedagogical Library in 1971, after a work of arrangement and collection of several years. The memorial hall was extended by the local council several times. The modern and spectacular exhibition was established by the Pedagogical Museum in 1988. Since 1997 the local government has been caring for the museum.

Besides the exhibition, which attracts about three thousands visitors every year - visitors can search in the continuously growing library and archives which can first of all give help to university and college graduates.

A taste of the exhibition
We can follow his course of life and role he played in the literal life. The documents presenting the information in connection with his son, the physicist are also of interest. The biedermeier room shows the function of the house. Portraits of Bertalan Székely made of Eötvös and his wife cover the walls. continue
