The building in Kossuth Street was rebuilt by 1989. It was named after the painter Gaál István who died at a young age. The memorial exhibition of Tóth Menyhért is open in the Gaál Imre Gallery of the Museum of Pesterzsébet where we also hold concerts, literary evenings and lectures. continue

The Pesterzsébet Museum's open-air statue park belongs to the Gaál Imre Gallery where the artworks of the sculptor Meszlényi János and the work entitled 'Mother with her Child' by the sculptor Medgyessy Ferenc can be seen. continue
The paintings of Menyhért Tóth
A taste of the exhibition
Menyhért Tóth selected the material for our permanent exhibition of the works of an internationally accepted artist of Hungarian painting of the 20th century. The painter spent his last ten years of his life in Pesterzsébet and the house of his birth in Miske. Our exhibition presents 11 paintings from the oeuvre of the artist. continue
