Excavations in Buda├Ârs and local history research resulted in the opening of a new exhibition supported by the Buda├Ârs self-government. The exhibition is to show the history of the village going back thousand of years. New items are continuously added to the collection that first opened in the kindergarten building in 2002.

The restorers of the old Swabian house built in the 19th century focused on renovating the building in its original state and preserving the beautiful garden with the ancient trees. There are four rooms in the house where a banquet room and a craftsman workshop were also set up, as well as a smaller service room.

The exhibition presents the nicest finds from the Buda├Ârs excavations. Finds from the Copper Age and Bronze Age c. five-thousand years ago are of special interest, as well as reconstruction of graves that were found during a detailed excavation of the cemetery and unique finds from coach graves. A reconstructed a grave from the time of the original settlement and objects from the villages Horhy, ├ľrs and Csik prove that settlers constantly arrived in the village in the past. Everyday objects and ornaments in showcases, in addition to texts inform the visitors on the history of Buda├Ârs.

A Roman sanctuary and a watchtower were built in the yard by the stone collection, the slides and swings for the amusement of children. A large checkers board and a Nine Men's Morris are in the yard for the enjoyment of adults.
