The Nyakvágó (Neck-cutter's) Inn was named after a murder. In June 1801 the owner lady's neck was cut by a murderer. As a station of the post way between Pest and Pétervárad (today Novi Sad), it could function rather well till the appearing of railway. It provided a shelter for workers and vagabonds alike. Shepherds had it as their favorite meeting place.
Its significance gradually diminished from the 1870'ies. Finally it was purchased as a farm by a local farmer. In 1978 the Kiskunság National Park renovated it and furnished it as a museum.
At present it consists of 6 rooms (two drinking places, kitchen, room with old furniture, ice pit and stable. The exhibition recalls the memory of the former world of highwaymen.
