A/96/12 is a three digit code behind a work of art located in the Váli Dezső Museum entitled "Studio with Rug". For the private collection this rug meant the beginning. It happened when Miklós Nagy spotted and bought this work of art of fine lyricism when visiting an exhibition in Tihany. Milkós Nagy discovered a number of works of art and purchased them for his private collection in the past ten years.
A taste of the exhibition
It was not a financial opportunity to guide his actions but the joy of discovering art and the individuals who created those. Miklós Nagy is the type of collector who goes and visits the artists in their studio; he builds personal relations with them in search of friendship. The artists soon noticed Miklós Nagy’s individual approach to art. He was called the "collector who sees" and who selects works of art with an outstanding skill.

It is not a surprise. At a young age, Miklós Nagy wanted to be an artist himself. Today, his interest in art drove him on the path of creativity; he returned to photography. His takes are discussions between nature and the urban reality of built environment. Many visual artists have found these photos influential.

The exhibition of Dr. Miklós Nagy's collection in the Godot Gallery in 2007 turned out to be really successful. The private collection in addition to some of Miklós Nagy's photos is on display in the Municipal Art Museum this year. Visitor to visit the exhibition will find works of art by El Kazovszkij, Dezső Váli, Erzsébet Vojnich, József Gaál, Miklós Szűts, István Nádler, József Szurcsik, László Szotyory, Emese Bács, Bikácsi Orsolya and Réka Nemere.
