The Photo and Photo Art Collection of the National Széchenyi Library salutes the 85-year-old István "Ceglédi" Tóth, one of the greatest figures of Hungarian photo art, with its jubilee oeuvre exhibition.
Maybe there is no other photographer in Hungary who received so many international awards around the world as the elderly master. He was awarded in Japan, South America, North America, Asia and Russia.
He is an emblematic figure of Hungarian photo art who only uses light to draw his beautiful black and white photos. His photos are held by eminent museums all around the world.
The photos shown were selected from originals the artist himself bestowed to our museum's Contemporary Photo Art Collection.
