From 25 October 2006 the exhibition of the photographer Kanyó Ferenc is open in the Library of the National Education Museum.
Kanyó Ferenc was born in 1946 in Gyoma.
He first met photography in 1969.
He attended a photo course at the People Education Institution in 1970 and in the same year his first independent exhibition was held.
In 1972, he received his teacher diploma from the Kossuth University of Debrecen.
His exhibition titled 'Moments in Zemplén' opened in 1973 in Debrecen.
In 1974, he became correspondent of the magazine 'Forrás'.
In 1977, he was the scholar of the County Council of Bács-Kiskun County.
His exhibition titled 'Everydays in Bács Kiskun' opened in 1978 in Kecskemét. He was founding member of the Studio of young Artists. He was accepted to the Association of Hungarian Photographers.
He received the 'Metal Worker' scholarship and organized an exhibition under the same title in 1979.
The sociography titled 'Village Short of Town' was published in 1980 with his photos included. His series titled 'Sign of Life' was published on six pages in the Munich based Photo Magazine.
He was member of the Arts Found in 1981.
He made political reports in 1989.
He was interested in advertisements of journeys in 1991.
He won the 'Best Giant Poster of the World' with a photo taken in Sicily in 1992.
The exhibition titled 'Mediterranean Mosaic' opened in the Museum of Ethnography.
His exhibition titled 'Hungary 1989' opened in Baden-Württemberg.
From 2001, he was a photography teacher in the Nádasdy Kálmán Arts School.
His exhibition titled 'Metamorphoses' opened in 2005.
His exhibition titled 'Tiborc of the 20th century' opened in the Katona József Memorial House in Kecskemét, as well as the exhibition titled "1956/1989" in the Library of the National Education Museum.
