The ice mummy found in 1991 became known as Ötzi. It is the oldest man found dressed up completely with complete set of equipment. The results of the researches on the topic are often presented on the pages of magazines and periodicals and on programs on TV. Conclusions formulated with scientific meticulousness are not all we can read about. There are several so-called 'news' that are nothing but idle stories.
A taste of the exhibition
Who was that man and how did that mysterious hunter die? We people have come up with thousands of answers to these questions, many of them were embellished by our fantasies. To really learn about the man who lived 3300 BC is not enough through theoretical approaches.

Béla Eőry has worked as an experimental archeologist for years. He made the clothes and equipment of Ötzi with tools used at the time when Ötzi lived: knife made with stone, bone needle etc.

The exhibition that has already been shown in several museums of the country gives an insight into the secrets of experimental archeology.
