In addition to original material from the library stock and archives, the exhibition also presents family heritage and documents we borrowed from the Special Education College that have been so far unpublished. The exhibition is about the psychologist woman who deceased twenty years ago, her selfless personality, work and family life her passion to help both at work and private life.

It is understandable applying altruistic logic why it was inevitable that the Flora who originally attended the faculty of arts eventually chose the special education profession, why she was named by her peers together with István Benedek "The henchman of Szondi" how the saying by the French philosopher, Guyau's played a significant role in her life: "suffers so I love her" – in Flóra becoming a muse.

In addition to Attila József's last love poems to Flóra Kozmutza, we also show the work by Gyula Illyés he wrote to his wife, that also inspired the title for our exhibition and an emotional letter written to her as well. We learn from the poet's diary why Gyula Illyés could use his wife's name in his poems wife's name, and we also reveal if he ever made an exception during the more than four decades of their marriage.

The focal point is the original manuscript of poem 'In Tears' by Illyés by Gyula with its poignant beauty, which depicts the last meeting with the poet with Attila József at the sanatorium Siesta. The visitors will see original photos of Attila József as well as replicas of works inspired by Flora poems by the fine artist Mrs. Domby Melánia Szántó.

Few people known that Flóra Kozmutza was the first female Special Education College lecturer, she became the director of the institute in 1973, and was founder of Damjanich Street new building complex. The exhibition recounts both her professional work as well her literary activities carried out for Gyula Illyés.

She typed her husband's manuscripts, she stayed in touch with editors, publishers, meanwhile, maintained a close friendship with several well-known people. The exhibition is based on material from the National Széchenyi Library; it highlights his correspondence with the daughter of Ferenc Molnár Mrs. Gyula Illyés, the widow of György Sárkozi, Márta Sárközi who also edited the periodical 'Válasz'. After the death of her husband, Mrs. Gyula Illyés took care of his heritage, therefore, books published in that period of time are also to be featured in the material.

Mrs Gyula Illyés as founder of Hungarian special education psychology regularly researched and published. Her most significant writings are also to be presented at the exhibition. In her life, she did much for the early recognition of disability, and was spokesperson for people with disabilities.

The exhibition is located on the seventh floor of the library, and is open from 1 September 2015 during the opening hours of the library. Customers without a library card can visit the temporary chamber exhibitions for 400 HUF.
