Works of art by István Fazekas Jr, the potter from Nádudvar are on display in our exhibition house in Járm. The exhibition opened on 1 August To date, the typical black ceramics of Nádudvar is known for its unmistakable black colour ands sanding decoration used since ancient time and the special burning technique used at its making.

István Fazekas Jr. makes black pottery of almost every form, including the candle dipping jars, jugs, canteens, through plates and bowls. The objects on display testify of exceptional professional knowledge, thorough skill of traditional forming and ornamentation. In addition to the black ceramics, Fazekas also makes glazed vessels, which can better meet the needs of today's generations, and fit well in homes. The making, shaping and decoration of these vessels require the same care, beauty, and high professional skills such as black pottery.
