The main attraction of the exhibition is the find known by the Egyptologist profession as the "mummy of Szombathely that was preserved by Premonstratensian Grammar School until 1951. In addition to mummy shrouds with inscription and God portraits, textile amulets and also linen dresses and accessories demonstrate this special use of textile that is hardly found in archaeological material in Hungary.
In addition to the Egyptian mummies. 4-9. century AD Coptic textiles and the famous gold-embroidered silk fabric remnants from Alsó-heténypuszta and Viminacium can be seen in the exhibition.
