Zdenko Huzjan was born in Lendva, the Mura Region. The influences on his painting are of a great variety varied, but above all his works tell of his love for his homeland. The works exhibited in Óbuda now represent part of the cycle of the last few years, and only a fraction of the total of 40 years of his art. In my works - wrote Huzjan - Silence reigns at the moment; the pictures are »silent", a cry is rarely heard as an extreme form of unspeakable anthropomorphic being. (...) Huzjan is known as a painter, graphic artist and sculptor as well. He has had 113 solo – among them six retrospect – exhibitions.
