The 2014s – the bicentenary of the birth of Miklós Ybl was declared Archaeology Year by the government. The festive year offers a number of events promoting the idea that architecture is a key element of Hungarian culture, and it represents an outstanding cultural value. However, the creative work of architects have traditionally been the bearer of innovation, which is why The first National Salon of Architecture focuses on the future architecture of ecological reasoning as well.
The exhibition focuses on praising creativity. The material was selected to review two eras of Hungarian architecture: spectacular buildings of the past decade and a half, an indispensable investments are dealt with as well small community churches, community spaces or emblematic houses in our country in about 2,500 square meters of exhibition space.
