This Christmas month, the Museum of Ethnography will be the home to Bethlehem Crib Exhibition that is to be presented 21st time this year. The exhibition is organized by the Hungarian Foundation for Arts and Crafts. The Foundation announces a contest for Bethlehem every year where several works can contest by one artist. The focuses of every topic should, however, be on the nativity scene and the characters, as well as decorations and material linked to Advent traditions and associated with Christmas . Folk art, fine art and applied art works of this nature are welcomed in these threads.
A professional jury will chose of the contesting material that they consider by worthy of showing. The institute aims to contribute to this year's presentation with folk -themed arts and crafts objects from its own collection, which may serve as an example of the Christmas Traditions may be redefined.
