The museum named after the passionate collector, Imre Bereczki who was born in Dévaványa, first opened on 17 August 2000. The material on display is about the history of Ványa, with its cultural scène included. The permanent exhibition consists of large archaeological showing of people who formerly inhabited this region.

The other permanent exhibition, called Memory of Ancestors Haunt /em> is an ethnographic showing about life in Ványa, Sárrét, with items of shepherds included, many of them made by Ferenc Kádár, a famed Master of Folk Art from Dévaványa. In addition, we also hold a number of temporary exhibitions from time to time.
