The building is found in the center of Ivánc. Architecturally it follows the style of the early rural houses. It is divided into a porch, a kitchen, a lard and a living room.

The porch served as an entrance and a corridor. In the porch we can see a copy of a document from 1380. Around the walls we can read some profitable informative material. We can find out about the names of the village and the changes of the population. We can also read about archeologic relics.

Keeping to the left we reach into the chaste room, where the chief space is occupied by the double bed. There is a two-door wardrobe on the right side of the bed. The wardrobe is full of early costume pieces, homespuns, etc. In front of the bed there is a table with chairs around it. On the left hand side of the bed there standa a cradle, holding a baby dresses according to the old style.

The special wooden ceiling is also worth looking at.

Leaving the room we can have a look at the kitchen. Old utensils are placed on the laid table. On the left we will find the oven. In the corner there stands a shelf for the instruments used for cooking: pots, milk jugs, glasses, bowls, etc. In the right side division of the kitchen we can see the former washing instruments. In those days women went to do their washing to the river Rába.

The last room was used as a lard. Apart from the farming devices we will find here some precious items of the Sigray-family. In the same exhibiting room visitors can also see the Kresznerics memorial wall, which was erected to the memory of the famous linguist and dictionary writer. The village thankfully remembers its famous citizen.
