The Rajeczky Benjámin memorial hall was opened on 11th November 1992. Rajeczky Benjámin had been an excellent citizen of the town. He was born in 1901 in Eger and died in 1989 in Pásztó. He is burried under the gothic bethel of the St.Lőrinc church.
A taste of the exhibition
Benjámin Rajeczky entered the cistercian order in 1917. He studied theology in Innsbruck, then worked as a teacher in the cistercian secondary grammar school. When he was working as a teacher he studied composing from Zoltán Kodély at the Budapest music academy. His life had three main stations: serving his church, workin as an educatior and serving as a musicologist.

In the first room of the exhibition we may see photographs of his life, family tree, collegues, their pupils, as well as a number of objective relics. The inner room exhibits the furniture and objects of his little house in Pásztó.
