It is the second time this year that the exhibition "Civil Expo" accompanies the World Press Photo exhibition in Hungary. The goal of the event that presents photos by amateur artists this year is again to show awarded press photos about view of life and reality in Hungary side by side 'civilian' photos. The Index, the Indafotó and the organizers of the exhibition announced a photo competition where anybody can compete beginning the week before the exhibition to its final day by uploading digital photos on the website of Indafotó.

All the uploaded photos can be checked out on Indafotó. The photos judged best by the jury will be projected on giant canvas on location. The number of photos projected will increase day by day. These will be all uploaded on the website of Civil Expo. Taking the feedback of photographers who participated in the competitions in former years into consideration, several categories are announced, such as news photos, people on the news, sports photo- action, sports photo-stories, daily life and also wide life photo. The jury presided over by Tamás Révész will select the best photos that are available to view on the website of Civil Expo.
