Jászai Mari bought a little house in Rábatamási where his brother was a chorister around 1910.
She spent summers there with the family of Jászai József until her death. She visited the grave of Széchenyi in Nagycenk and took walks in nearby villages. She furnished both her rooms.
First, the family added new rooms to the house, then, in 1954, the house was reorganized into a Gobbi Hilda and the theatre historian Magyar Bálint memorial place. Presently, original furniture, relics, several pictures of Jászai Mari on stage and letters are shown.
The construction works were supported by the NKÖM and furniture was provided by the Ernst Museum.
