The second pharmacy museum was opened in 1988 with permanent exhibitions and reference library, in place of the erstwhile "Black Saracen" pharmacy". The reconstruction works of the building under 3 Rákóczi street was completed according to 17-18th century states between 1984 and 1988.

On the ground floor there is a herbal shop operating, from there you can get to the halls of the exhibition of pharmaceutical history. On the first floor we can find the Library of Pharmaceutical History in the neo-renaissance officinal furniture arrangement and galleried material chamber of the "Saviour" pharmacy of Körmend founded in 1895.

The "Black Saracen" pharmacy house is an organic part of the Kőszeg Museum of Pharmaceutics, which presents the various remains of county Vas here. This exhibition is not as wonderful as the Jesuit furnishing which amazes all our visitors, but it is uniquely old and the interiors and tools presented are definitely a unique collection and make its professional value bigger.
