The largest and most beautiful private collection in Hungary is open from June 1986 in the town of Siófok at 10 Kálmán sétány.

The collection that is protected by the state includes almost 3000 minerals. Some of the visitors even return every now and again. They are happy to see that the minerals grow in number year by year.

We have the greatest number of visitors on cool summer evenings as the people interested in the beauties of nature often make time to visit this famous collection on their holidays to the Lake Balaton.

The 54 showcases in 5 wards are full of miners from all over Hungary, the world, Upper Hungary and Kapnikbánya.

Looking at the so-called 'mine flowers' from Transylvania, we can make sure that there is no other collection so full as ours. The visitors may also see many standard models that mirror the uniqueness of the collection.

Until this collection is not appreciated enough among the museums that receive support, thousands of minerals cannot be shown. There may coma a patron one day who believed that the value of the nation deserves support.

The beauty of the pieces shown is still make everybody wonder and all of them are spellbound by the magic of the stones.
