The Baroque building built in the last part of the 18th century on the estate of the Hunyady family in Balatonszemes hosts the Post Museum since 1962.

The News Service Museum Foundation had the building reconstructed in 2003-2004, and also had vehicles and a barn built.

The nice yard serves as an excellent surrounding for the work of the sculptor Trischler Ferenc, the News Service Memorial which salutes the employees of post services who died during service.

A taste of the exhibition
The new exhibition titled 'Mobile posts at the turn of the centuries' shows selected pieces of the Postal Museum. In connection with the history of the museum, we show the history of transportation of the post from the wagon of the 15th century until the latest cars used in postal services. continue
