The basilica ruling over the Castle Hill of Esztergom is not only the largest church building of the country, but its treasury protects the richest liturgy collection of the nation. Nearly 400 goldsmith and textile productions can be seen in the exhibition halls of the cathedral. Among the goldsmith items originating from the 12th to 19th centuries there are such famous masterpieces as the Stauroteka of Byzantium, the Corvin-horncup, the Suk-cup, the Szelepcsény-guide and the most famous treasure of Hungary - following the crown of course - the Matthias Calvary.
Among the exhibited textiles there are liturgy robes and other items used by the priest crowning the king.
