The dwelling house of Markaz was raftered, guttered and plank pedimented house of three divisions. The house was built by Vendel Valkó in the beginning of the 1870'ies.
At present the roof of the house is made of reeds, but originally it was covered by rye straw.
The region house was opened before the public in 1988. Maintanence works are carried out by the members of the local retired club.
