A The 18th century prebendal building houses the collection of Endre Nemes (1909-1985) who was born in Pécsvárad. He was educated in Prague, then moved to Sweden in 1940. A certain unique "rationalistic surrealism" is the main quality of his oeuvre. He evokes the fragments of the cold and materialistic world of European culture and civilization.
Some of his main works on show: Unveiling of the night (1938); Close to the electric chair (1979); Bird and girl (1951).
