The Wood Carver Gallery is situated in the Castle Garden. It was originally built to store stones but later was reconstructed to hold exhibitions. It opened in 1996 presenting wood carvings, wood artworks and folk sculptures. The gallery holds an unequalled display in the country.

Ever since its opening, the gallery hosted a number of quality exhibitions where the most important representatives of wood carving showed their works. Several collective showing were held, too. Among others, we can mention the 4th National Folk Sculpturing, the exhibition of the national application named 'Timber Furniture and Stick', 'New Intentions', 'Wooden Toys from Mid Europe'.
