The small castle that hosts the museum was built for the district administrator in 1896. After 1945, it served as the club of the army, as flat for officers and later as school.

In 2000, the Self-government gave over the castle to the Town Guardian Association so that they can open a Local Compilation in it.

The protected building is a worthy place for showing our cultural and spiritual memories which grows continuously with the donations of people of the town.

It has been a public institution since 2001.
