Fülesd is a village situated in a region named Erdőhát, in Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County with a population of nearly 500. It is about 95 km east of Nyíregyháza and 15 km from the Ukranian-Romanian-Hungarian border.

A museum park with two peasant houses and attached buildings with objects and local history records were developed in the middle of the village 1980's and 90's.

A large scale of tools of work families used in the 19th century and at the beginning of the 20th century was given to the museum by local people.

Outbuildings, pigsties, a summer kitchen, barns, awell, beehive stores, a dog house etc) surround the two peasant houses looking very appropriate in the landscape.

Vegetation grows naturally at the entrance to the park. (vine, plum, acacia, cherry etc)

Our self-government organized a plum jelly cooking day together with the people of the village and visitors. We wish to repeat the event yearly.

Besides hundreds of objects from the house, the collection includes records presenting the weekdays of people living in the Erdőhát region.

The maintenance of the museum park is performed by the self-government.
