444 years - Eleõd Ákos's art concept

The exhibition is centred around the historic proximity of death of Michelangelo and the birth of Shakespeare. The significance of the two giants provides opportunity for us to contemplate on Art and the role of Art in history and humanity. The basis of the concept is the key sentence open for pathos and/or irony, myth and/or fairy tale. Those participating in this artistic act answer these, interpret these, and process these.

4 exhibiting artists; Eleõd Ákos - Gaál József - Gellér B. István - Szurcsik József; the central element of the exhibition room is the space series by Eleőd; the individual social stages of cubes of lessening size were done by four artists.

44 exhibitors; the list of names of artists qualified at fine art applications; the exhibiting artists all receive cubes of the size of 44x44x44. These cubes appear as 44 light prisms lined up by the walls of the Church. The two lines are on a path of analysing. It is a series containing the ideas of the "fours", whatever they came upon during work, their influence on each other. The "forty-fours" space-pieces draw up a concise picture coming from 44 heads and 44 directions. These lead us to a great variation of interpretations while their effect together exposes several associations.
