Marica Sipos's exhibition called Trauma is a place oriented flow of installations which was inspired (also) by the archaic walls of the Exhibition House and the visitor will be transported to a much earlier place. The liquids running down the pipe system are not the requisites of an alchemist séance, rather abstraction of our own body. If it is like this, why don't we feel the well known familiarity? Why is shuddering the first reaction?

Maybe because of the symbol of blood, which associates a lot of negative feelings and fear. The installation is not the three dimensional image of the daily massacre of the media, much more the clearance of the blood or blood-stream from the negative connotations. The gallery becomes a space of meditation, where we can concentrate on the fundaments of our life. It is a rare occasion that Marica Sipos creates to us.
