Ornamented eggs are symbols; they are manifestations of humans' longing for plenitude and perfection. In ancient times, egg ornamenting symbolised the repeat of the creation of the world, by way of a set of symbols reflecting nature's colours, ancient geometry and forms. It expresses the desire of mankind for peace and harmony, the wish to fit in the universe.
