A unique series of exhibitions in Hungary. The Hungarian Press Photo Exhibition has come to its jubilee 30th anniversary. By no coincidence this is the single exhibition in Hungary that has reached this special anniversary.

The nearly one hundred year old success story of photography and not least that of Hungarian photographers continues even today. Hungarian scientists. Hungarian composers. Hungarian photographers. They are the ones who with their talent, knowledge and performance have brought reputation and fame not only to themselves but also to Hungary for a century to the present day. Many of them stand in the forefront of their field in the world even today.

The exhibition organised by the National Federation of Hungarian Journalists was first seen at the R-Club of the University of Technology in 1982. Since 1983 it became and still is one of the most popular events of the Budapest Spring Festival.

The six week long display depicts the most exciting moments, the natural wonders, and the dramatic, happy and funny life situations, the exceptional artistic and sports achievements of the past year. Drama, beauty, atmosphere, struggle and humour in 2011. We were the participants, the fans, the winners and losers. Hundreds and hundreds of pictures that are worth seeing.
