The Győr-born artist graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Hungary. He has taught at the Révai Grammar School in Győr for over 30 years. His art was greatly influenced by his former art teacher, Lajos Cziráki, who also lived in Győr.
His figural compositions often deal with ethics, and are influenced by is family and music. He mediates his ideas through symbols, of which recurring motives are the flower, birds, sheep, musical instruments, paintbrush and children. He applies lively colours, his works reflect his inner tranquillity.
His creed as an artist is: ‘I paint my pictures believing that the sky is high and it begins with our sole’.
