Vinkler was one of the most influential artists in Szeged in the 20th century, a real cultic figure. He initiated the opening of the Faculty of Art and Art History of the Training Collage. During his three decade of work in education, Vinkler taught generations of art students.

The exhibition selecting from the collection of the Móra Ferenc Museum provides insight into all of his artistic periods, beginning in the mid-fortieth up to his last years. The visitors will find brilliant portraits, paintings influenced by mythology, non-figurative and avant-garde works, too.
